Julien Ayrault

Julien is a French director and photographer with an opening mind that will be part of his DNA forever.
Julien began to work for the French national public television TV show « Comme au Cinéma », as the right-hand man of the producer’s show and as director for several chronicles.

He created “Shake Content” for BBDO Paris, a branded entertainment department and acted as a creative director and film director. Brands he has worked for are Pepsi International, Mercedes, M&M’s, Henkel, Diadermine, Total, Motorola etc…

Julien migrated to Shanghai in 2009, in deep need of discovery and new challenges: He decided to entirely focus his energy and career of film director.

Having directed over 100 Tvc in China, Julien has worked with major international brands such as Lancôme, Armani, Prada，Etro, H&M, Nike, FILA, IKEA，BMW, Audi，Benz， JEEP, Volkswagen, Dodge, Lexus, Honda…
And also worked with many Chinese brands, HUWEI, Xiaomi, OPPO, VIVO, JD, Taobao.
And with many Chinese celebrities such as Zhou dongyu ，Yiyang qianxi， Yufeihong，GEM，Zhang yixing，Yu wenle，Cai xukun, Dili reba …

His passion for people and the capacity of his camera work to catch their emotion made him a true visual storyteller.
He also operates as a director of photography on most of his films.
After over 10 years in China, Julien decided to move back in France with his family, hungry & curious more than ever to keep up his life adventure.
